Responsibilities:
Mr. Garner is the Director of Engineering for the Boston Properties
regional portfolio consisting of over 50 buildings comprising more
than 11 million square feet of first class office space.
In this capacity, he oversees the building engineering operations
and energy management programs for the entire region. In addition,
Mr. Garner is responsible for the quality control and commissioning
of new construction mechanical/electrical and energy management
systems.

Professional Experience:
Mr. Garner has over 20 years of experience in the management, operations,
maintenance and construction of commercial real estate. He has been
employed by Boston Properties since 1987 and has participated in
the design, construction, commissioning and start up of over 20
first class office buildings including notable projects such as
the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building, Market Square
North and Freedom Square. He has overseen the use and optimization
of various state of the art HVAC systems including ice storage,
high efficiency chillers, low temperature air, VFD's on fans, pumps
and chillers and direct digital controls. In addition, he has developed
project specifications and served as a project manager on numerous
HVAC, electrical and energy management system upgrades at existing
properties to enhance operations and conserve energy.
