About AOBA Alliance,
Inc. AOBA Alliance, Inc. (the "Alliance"), the wholly owned subsidiary of the Apartment and Office Building Association ("AOBA") has recently completed several successful offerings to apartment and office building customers of the Potomac Electric Power Company ("PEPCO") in Maryland and the District of Columbia. AOBA Alliance, licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia is in the business of facilitating the low cost procurement of energy services to members of AOBA, as well as non-member buildings within the apartment and office building community. AOBA Alliance uses its resources and expertise to streamline the procurement process for apartment and office building owners and managers. Many companies do not have the in-house expertise and resources to stay current with energy markets and evaluate offerings for competitive energy services. Even many larger national organizations do not have expertise in the parameters of the Washington Metropolitan markets to make well-informed determinations with respect to competitive supply alternatives. The AOBA Alliance fills this void without eroding energy cost savings for participants. These successful Maryland and District of Columbia offerings are the result of the AOBA Alliance's negotiation of terms and endorsement of services offered by Pepco Energy Services ("PES"). PES was chosen after the Alliance's evaluation of a number of alternative energy services suppliers. Currently, over one hundred (100) organizations representing a total load of over 465 megawatts have chosen to participate in Alliance offerings. This represents approximately 25% of Pepco's total load in the District. The Alliance has made offerings in both electric and gas services. If you have any questions concerning your companies
